Our journey began in the early 1960s, in an era where craftsmanship was valued over convenience, and where every trade was a testament to patience and pride. Our founders entered the leather industry through rawhide trading, immersing themselves in the knowledge, labor, and nuance of the material. It was here—amid the smell of hide and the rhythm of the tannery—that a lifelong passion was born.

As the business passed from one generation to the next, each successor brought new energy, ideas, and ambition—while remaining deeply respectful of the legacy that had been built before them.

Rising Through the Ranks

By the late 1970s and into the 1980s, our family had carved a name for itself in the leather tanning world—respected for our uncompromising standards, exceptional consistency, and deep understanding of the craft. Our tannery became known for producing leather of unparalleled richness, suppleness, and character.

This reputation crossed oceans. European buyers and fashion houses began to take notice. They were drawn not only to the integrity of our tanning processes, but also to the story behind our leather—a story rooted in generational knowledge, respect for tradition, and a relentless pursuit of perfection.

The Birth of the Brand

The 1990s marked a pivotal moment in our history. After decades of tanning leather for others, we took a bold leap forward: to design, craft, and present our own line of luxury leather goods under our own name.

Our inaugural collection—comprised of handbags, small leather accessories, and travel goods—was the result of a collaboration with acclaimed Italian designer Mr. Mazzente. His distinctive vision and sharp eye for timeless beauty elevated our craftsmanship to new heights. His designs, many of which still grace our archives and earliest catalogues, reflected a rare harmony between European sophistication and Indian mastery.

These first pieces were more than just accessories—they were declarations of identity, each one a bold yet elegant expression of the values we held dear.
